Hagihara Industries Inc. will host a commemorative event for the naming rights of HAGIHARA Blue Sea Hall (Kasaoka Civic Hall) on Sunday, December 6, 2026.
The event is designed to help local residents become more familiar with the hall’s nickname while providing an opportunity to enjoy and learn about science and manufacturing. Under the theme “A Day for All Ages to Enjoy Science and Discover the Appeal of the Local Community,” the event will feature a science show, hands-on activities and exhibition booths, as well as a prize drawing.
At the science show, Giant Murakami will perform science experiments in a program produced by Denjiro Yonemura. At the Hagihara Industries booth, visitors can compare sheet thicknesses, make pin badges, and experience stretching flat yarn. The Kasaoka City booth will feature exhibits where visitors can enjoy learning about the area’s nature, history, and local attractions.
Admission is free, and advance reservations are not required. We invite you to join us with your family and friends.
