Our polyethylene printed sheets have been adopted as pitch covers at the historic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney, Australia.

SCG is one of Australia’s most prestigious sporting venues, having hosted numerous international events across a wide range of sports, including cricket, Australian rules football, rugby league, and soccer.
The printed sheets were used during the Pink Test, a charity match held to support cancer awareness and fundraising initiatives. The event aims to raise awareness of cancer treatment and encourage donations to related causes.
The printed sheets introduced at SCG are made from lightweight polyethylene, offering a clear advantage over the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials previously used. Local stakeholders have given high praise to the product, citing its light weight, ease of transportation, and simple installation and removal. Additional benefits noted include reduced physical workload and ease of handling even in large formats.
After printing on polyethylene sheets measuring 3.6 meters × 20 meters at our facilities, the sheets are rolled and exported to Australia. They are then joined together by EH Brett Pty Ltd, a local processing company in Australia, to create large-format sheets measuring 20 meters × 20 meters, finished in a configuration suitable for use at SCG.
Moving forward, we will continue to develop and propose printed sheet products for a wide range of applications, including sports facilities and event venues, both in Japan and internationally. In particular, we aim to expand the potential of polyethylene sheets as an alternative to PVC materials, contributing to reduced environmental impact and improved operational efficiency.
