Company Begins Distribution of Disaster Preparedness Backpacks to All Employees

The Company has commenced the distribution of disaster preparedness backpacks to all employees, with the aim of ensuring employee safety and strengthening its ability to respond swiftly and effectively in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.

In recent years, the increasing severity and frequency of natural disasters have heightened the need for companies not only to enhance the effectiveness of their business continuity plans (BCP), but also to implement concrete measures to safeguard the safety of each individual employee. Recognizing the importance of creating an environment in which employees working at each site can secure essential supplies and respond calmly and safely during an emergency, the Company has decided to implement this initiative.

Each disaster preparedness backpack is designed for evacuation or on-site sheltering immediately following a disaster, and contains a well-balanced selection of essential items, including water, emergency food, basic first-aid supplies, hygiene products, and equipment to support lighting and communication. The contents are intended to enable employees to take appropriate action while ensuring their own safety.

The backpacks will be distributed to employees working at the Company’s domestic locations, including part-time employees, and will be stored at designated locations within each site, such as lockers, to ensure they can be accessed promptly in the event of a disaster.

The Company will continue to place the highest priority on the safety and peace of mind of its employees, while steadily strengthening its disaster preparedness and mitigation efforts and contributing to the sustainable development of society through its business activities.
