Our subsidiary, BarChip Inc. Has been awarded the 8th JAPAN Construction International Award (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Category).

This award, established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in 2017, aims to further promote awareness of “high-quality infrastructure,” enhance the presence of Japanese companies overseas, and support their further expansion abroad. The Medium-Sized and Small Construction Companies category specifically recognizes “medium-sized and small construction-related companies that are leading the way in overseas activities.”

Regarding BarChip:

• Acquired distributors in 9 countries overseas and reorganized as a globally integrated manufacturing and sales company
• Expanded production bases to Indonesia and Paraguay, establishing a local production for local consumption business model
• Product development engineers visit sites to oversee trial construction and incorporate results into products
• Contributing to CO2 emissions reduction by partially eliminating reinforcement bars in conventional construction methods (with cases achieving up to 90% reduction)
• Engaging in local raw material procurement and recycling scrap materials during manufacturing
• Signing a memorandum of understanding with the Universidad Nacional de Asunción and the Paraguayan Road Association for technical support and joint research

These achievements led to this award.
