Hagihara Industries, Okayama Prefectural Federations of Forestry Cooperatives (Chairman: Yasuhiro Ono; hereinafter “Okayama Prefectural Federations”), Niimi City Forestry Cooperative (President: Toshiro Takemoto; hereinafter “Niimi City Forestry”), and the Okayama Branch of The Norinchukin Bank (Branch Manager: Kazutoshi Matsumoto; hereinafter “Norinchukin”) concluded a collaboration agreement on February 17, 2025 (hereinafter “agreement”) on the “Utilization of J-Credits for Forest Management in the Niimi District.”

Under this agreement, the four entities will work closely together through the utilization of J-Credits to effectively leverage their resources and technologies for promoting sustainable and sound forest management. The objective is to contribute to the development of a carbon-neutral society and regional revitalization by fully leveraging the multifaceted functions of forests.

The four parties will continue to collaborate to resolve social issues, engage in the conservation of forestry resources, and contribute to achieving a carbon-neutral society and creating a recycling-oriented society.
