We are pleased to announce that our newly constructed manufacturing facility in the United States has officially commenced operation. The opening ceremony was held on September 25, 2025(Thursday) (local time).
This new facility was established by our wholly owned subsidiary, Hagihara Industries McAllen Corporation, to produce Meltac Cloth —a packaging material for fruits and vegetables—and supply it directly to an adjacent customer facility.
Previously, Meltac Cloth was manufactured at our facility in Japan and exported from this location. By gradually shifting production to the new U.S. facility, we are now able to mitigate risks associated with maritime logistics disruptions, rising transportation costs and international trade policy changes. This shift also enables us to ensure a stable supply to our customers. With the launch of this new facility, we will accelerate the global expansion of Meltac Cloth and other product lines.
