Signing of Strategic Partnership Agreement with Ai Home for Horizontal Recycling of Blue Cloth

On August 22, 2025 (Friday), our company entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Ai Home Co., Ltd., a residential housing manufacturer headquartered in Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture (President: Ken Ito), to promote the circular use of construction materials. Through the horizontal recycling of used blue cloth, both companies aim to reduce environmental impact and contribute to the realization of a resource-circulating society.

This was the first partnership in the Tohoku region for the “Re VALUE+” horizontal blue cloth recycling project that we are engaged in, and it has led to the establishment of a new resource circulation route.

This initiative is designed to contribute to the development of a sustainable society by recycling blue cloth used at construction sites and repurposing them as construction materials. With Ai Home commencing construction on approximately 250 homes annually, an estimated 15 metric tons of blue cloth are expected to be recycled each year.

The used blue cloth are collected and intermediate processed by an industrial waste processor in Miyagi Prefecture, stored, and transported to our designated factory, where Hagihara Industries purchases them for a fee and transports them to a partner company in Okayama Prefecture. After sorting and cleaning at the partner company, the waste is converted into raw materials as recycled pellets, and Hagihara Industries produces new blue cloth. These will be used again at Ai Home construction sites.
