Slitting, Stretching, Winding, Weaving

The technologies that have long supported Hagihara Industries, and that will continue to be its core technologies, are “Slitting, Stretching, Winding, Weaving.” The first step is “slitting” plastic films such as polyethylene and polypropylene. By “stretching” them, strong monofilament or flat yarn is created. “Winding” these makes them ready for use in a variety of products, and “weaving” them turns them into products. These core technologies are utilized not only in the Plastics Business, but also with slitters, which are currently the core products of the Engineering Business.

Engineneering Business

Engineering Business Covering Integrated Manufacturing, from Design to Programming and Assembly

The Engineering Division works on a made-to-order basis, and there are numerous engineers in the design department who can reflect customer requests in drawings. Since the core technologies of web handling for roll-to-roll processing and winding technology require verification using permanently installed test equipment, the suitability of the material is ensured. For resin-related products, we also base our proposals on equipment and processes that are suitable for our customers’ materials, based on verification using various test machines. We develop our own programs, including control systems, to extract data in accordance with our customers’ management practices and enhance on-site user efficiency in a timely manner.
